Revival and Racial Equality

(by Michele S.)
ERRATA and OMISSION: 1) There was an egregious error in the recent “RJ Series, Week 3 Summary” in Michele’s section: “I do want to diminish the sometimes urgent desire…” should read “I do NOT want to diminish the sometimes urgent desire…” The post is now corrected.
2) The post omitted several important links in Jennifer’s section that shed light on her narrative. One of them is the following short video which I urge you to view.

Revival and racial equality

One very important point this video makes that is also a verifiable pattern in the global history of Christianity is the following: True spiritual revival always goes hand in hand with racial equality. The Spirit of God erases any lines or distinctions that diminish the image of God in any of his children. (More on this theme later)

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 3: 26-29
