This little orchid, a gift from a dear friend last year, has been growing a flower stalk for a couple of months. Progress has been slow, but a few days ago it seemed to speed up. On Maundy Thursday evening, I noticed one flower was starting to unfold. Yesterday, Good Friday, all three fully opened. Three white flowers, the central one higher than the others flanking it, seem a perfect little botanical picture of what happened on Calvary.
